Brady/TISCOR Acquires Rights to Fluke Biomedical’s Sentinel Infinity Biomedical Equipment Management Software

SAN DIEGO, October 19, 2004— Brady/TISCOR, an innovator in mobile workforce automation software systems and a leading provider of total facility management solutions, announced today that it has acquired the rights to Fluke Biomedical’s Sentinel Infinity biomedical equipment management software. Fluke Corporation is the world leader in the manufacturing, distribution and service of electronic test tools and software and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR).

Brady/TISCOR, a subsidiary of Brady Corporation (NYSE: BRC), said it will develop, market and provide technical support for the Sentinel software product and absorb Fluke Biomedical’s customer base of approximately 300.

With more than 30 years of experience serving biomedical test customers and 55 years of defining electronic test products, Fluke Biomedical stated that it intends to concentrate its development and sales efforts on its core market of medical testing equipment to best serve the needs of its thriving client base. Clinical and Biomedical Engineers around the world utilize Fluke Biomedical’s test equipment. The company’s customers and testing equipment can be found within hospitals, third party maintenance organizations, the military, and in all facets of medical product manufacturing and sales.

In February 2001, Fluke enlisted the help of Brady/TISCOR to apply its 22 years of biomedical software development to improve the performance of the Sentinel Infinity computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) application. Brady/TISCOR is a veteran in developing software solutions for the biomedical industry, as well as applications for compliance and regulatory agency-related inspections, preventive maintenance, and facility management.

Brady/TISCOR’s MEDI-MIZER biomedical equipment inspection software has helped hundreds of hospitals, universities and health organizations to automate and streamline their regulatory inspections on biomedical equipment by providing a hand-held solution that eliminates cumbersome and inefficient paper documentation. The solution helps clinicians prove compliance with regulations outlined by the Joint Commission on Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).

“Brady/TISCOR is very excited about the opportunity to bring hand-held computing capabilities to the Sentinel Infinity biomedical equipment management software to further enhance the use of the product,” said Gus Sakis, Director of Medical Products at Brady/TISCOR.
